If you are in Berlin and you haven't seen yet this fantastic exhibition of Friedrich Seidenstücker' s photos you have still some time: the last day will be on the 6th of February.
I didn't know the work of this photographer and I must thank my german teacher, who took the class to see it. These photos picture in beautiful back and white moments of the life in the years between 1925 and 1958. There is the craziness and freedom of the 20s, the horror of the second WW (where the only oasis from the human madness was the zoo), the life that begins again after the conflict.
My favorites are pictures of the girls jumping over puddles (a kind of recurrent theme for the photographer) and pictures of animals.
Highly recommended! Here is the website of the Berlinische Galerie and here is the page of the exhibition. :o)
